Hello! Thank you for viewing our class blog. I hope that this will help increase communication between the students, parents and school. This is my first year teaching 4th grade at Willard East. However, I am not entirely new to the school. I did my student teaching here before I graduated from Missouri State University with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education with a french minor. I hold dual certification in both Elementary and Early Childhood Education. I moved to Springfield, Missouri three years ago just shortly after marrying my husband, Justin. I grew up in Northern Wisconsin, which is where I tribute my accent to (that and my french heritage upbringing). In my spare time, I really enjoy being outside with my husband and our dog, Louis. I love to canoe, garden, hike and most of all travel! I am really looking forward to a great school year and I hope you are as well!
